🔹 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course (First Step to Get Licensed)
Cost: $100
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday — 8 AM to 4 PM
This is the mandatory first step to becoming a New York State Licensed Security Guard. The 8-Hour Pre-Assignment course provides an overview of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. After completing this class, you’ll receive a certificate needed to apply for your NYS security license.
📌 No appointment necessary. Just be on-site by 8 AM for registration.
🔹 16-Hour On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Cost: $200
Schedule: Every Thursday & Friday — 8 AM to 4 PM
This two-part course is the second required step to obtain your NYS Security Guard license. Day 1 is held on Thursday and Day 2 on Friday. You must complete both days to receive your certificate. The training covers real-world scenarios, emergency procedures, report writing, and more.
✅ Must attend both days consecutively.
🔹 8-Hour Annual In-Service Training
Cost: $80
Offered Daily (Including Sundays with Pre-Registration)
Already licensed? This yearly renewal course is required by NYS to keep your license active. Star Security Training offers the 8-Hour Annual every day. Sunday classes require a minimum of 10 students and pre-registration.

🔥 Fire Guard F-01 & F-02 Certification Training (Onsite & Online)
