Founded in 2009, Star Security Training is a New York State-approved security guard training school located in Brooklyn, New York. Star Security Training is the training division of Star Security Group Corporation (SSG), a New York-based company serving the security industry.
For more than 17 years, we have helped thousands of students obtain and maintain their New York State security guard licenses through affordable, career-focused training programs taught by experienced instructors.

Our vision is to build a leading professional training program — online and in person — including professional certification and industry-leading online training.
As we continue to grow, we plan to expand our online training programs to include professional certification and exam preparation courses such as OSHA, civil service exams, notary public training, real estate exam preparation, home improvement exams, workplace readiness, and other career-focused educational programs.
